About the team

The Club Equestrian Team at UGA competes in Huntseat Equitation through the IHSA. All levels and disciplines of riding are welcome and no experience is necessary. 

All of our members compete in different levels from Walk/Trot to the Open division.  The team is also involved in community equestrian events throughout the Athens area and practices out of a private facility located about 25 minutes from campus.  The team consists of about 20 student athletes that compete in the Hunt Seat division.

KB Sport Horses Equestrian Facility hosts the University of Georgia's IHSA Club Equestrian Team. Our team is part of the Club Sports Program at UGA and the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), where we are part of Zone 5, Region 2. We compete against Berry College, Auburn University, University of Alabama, Georgia Tech, Georgia College and State University, North Georgia College, Kennesaw State University, and many more!
